Explore the main sights of the old town and visit one of the biggest palaces complex in Europe. During the first part of our tour we will visit the main sights of the old town. You will see the St. Mary's Square with its new and old town halls and the carillon. Then we will visit the main market Viktualienmarkt, the famous restaurant and brewery Hofbräuhaus, Max Josef Platz with the State Opera, and the symbol of Munich, the Cathedral of Our Dear Lady. I will tell you about the dukes and kings of Bavaria and interesting historical facts, and you will get know about the development of Munich's breweries. In the second part of our tour you will visit one of the biggest residence palaces in Europe. We will go through 140 halls of Residence Museum, where dukes and kings lived. We will also visit its Cuvilliés Theatre and its Treasury. The Residence Museum's vast collection of art and artifacts offers a fascinating look at centuries of European history, showcasing everything from royal portraits to exquisite furniture and decorative pieces.
